The Lightbulb Family Stories are short, colourful fables
for children, aged 5 - 10.
Who is the Man in the Moon?
Why isn’t Greenland green?
Why do the leaves fall off the trees in autumn?
The stories provide answers to questions that children might ask
After telling a fictional story, Mr. Lightbulb gives the real answers to those questions (What really happened?) and helps his children, Ray and Brightie (and our young readers as well) understand the importance of the theme for the future of the planet. Mrs Lightbulb will soon become involved too!
The fable and the facts can be read as stand alone or together, depending on the child and their inspiration.
The books are beautifully illustrated by Anne-Louise Richards
